Asking for Self, Female, 30 years old, Karachi
I am a 30-year-old married female.
The problem I have been facing for the past few months is that I have been feeling extremely lazy, experiencing sleepless nights, and suffering from bone and leg pain.
In February 2026, I visited my doctor, who advised me to undergo several tests. All of the results were normal except for my vitamin D level, which was 15 ng/mL. My doctor prescribed a course of vitamin D medication, and I completed the treatment as instructed.
However, instead of improving, my condition became worse. In June 2026, I repeated the vitamin D test, and I was shocked to find that my vitamin D level had dropped to 7.8 ng/mL.
My life has become very difficult because I am now experiencing severe pain in my legs, along with persistent fatigue and difficulty sleeping.
I have enclosed my reports for reference.
My question is: Why would my vitamin D level continue to decrease even after completing the full course of vitamin D medication prescribed by my doctor? I would really appreciate any advice or possible explanations.
Thank you.
