Assalam o alikum, I’ve cyst like structure on my face near ear from last 2-3 years. I started feeling unwell (headache and fatigue) since last month. So i went to the doctor. Doctor diagnosed it as a cyst and recommended to remove it by minor procedure. For what they asked me to perform few lab tests, I just received those results. My platelets are abnormal (106k) same is with RDW (15.9fL) . I am feeling very unwell since last month. I feel fatigue, laziness and bleeding with stools(not much). Now i want to know the reason? Is all of this is because of that cyst? Or low platelet count is the reason?why my platelet count is decreasing? I don’t smoke or consume alcohol

bleeding with stool might be because of low platelets but not lethargy and weakness. in this humid environment there is a lot of electrolyte loss and its one of the reason for lethargy and sleepiness. cyst on face can cause you headache or other symptoms if there is a connection with brain or if its irritating some nerves.
if its just a simple cyst then it can be removed with single minor procedure and closing the incision with subcut sutures and u will have the minimum scar.
