Talk to Ent Specialist on Ear Blockage/Obstruction (ENT)

Jetlag type ear blockage is being experienced. Patient has continuous and long history of nasal/breathing obstruction as well. Both issues strongly seem to be interconnected.
Patient has taken tab Danzen Ds 10mg 1+0+1 for 5 days after food, vicks vaporub steam at night time for 5 days, and Dexcip drops for 5 days as advised by doctor. This has improved blockage but still blockage is existing.
Should this tablet, drops and vicks vaporub steam be continued after 5 days? Should Xynosine Nasal spray be used as well?

I think two issues are there one is ear infection and second is nasal obstruction. The meds as mentioned can be used for 10 days in a continuity, no problem. Xynosine nasal spray for short term use and quick nasal relief can be added but shouldn't be used for more than 10 days
The need for a prolong use depends upon the patient condition... improved or partially improved (needs to continue for an extended time) or not responding (change of treatment).
