Talk to Ent Specialist on Ear Clogged

I am a CKD patient currently on dialysis 3 times a week. I was given steroids and stopped using them 2 weeks ago. A few days ago I lost hearing in my left ear almost completely when I woke up. I washed my ear and it felt that everything was fine. This has happened 3 times this week. Yesterday I used some cotton earbuds to clean my ear canal and my left ear had a lot of very dark brown colored ear wax, even after using the cottonbud my hearing did not fully recover. Today the issue has worsened as cleankng with water only solves the issue for a few minutes. I am not sure what the issue is or that I have mistakenly pushed the ear wax further into the ear canal which is causing my unease and slight to moderate hearing loss.
