For the past few days I have a sense of clogging and reduced hearing of one ear. There is no ear discharge. It is most probably ear wax. I am scared of visiting a doctor during this pandemic. Is it okay if I use olive oil/ baby oil at home to soften the wax? Could using olive oil lead to ear infections?
If you dont want to visit a doctor then dont manipulate the if the wax is dry it ahould come out on its own. If you push it further or use any kind of oils or drops, the blocked feeling may worsen.
