Often in head and neck infections , lymph nodes of neck get enlarged .. but i need to know the exact location of lymph node..as u mentioned tonsil is also enlarged so do u feel pain in tonsil? Or did u have sore throat recently? Or sinusitis? Also if u touch the lymph node and it's tender then most likely it's infectious cause .. and is it only one lymph node or many? don't be worried abt it .. infection causes tonsils to be enlarged and their sizes may differ .. still examination is required.. hopefully u will be better after taking medications
