Asking for Self, Male, 21 years old, Rawalpindi
Assalamu Alaikum. When I was a child, I fell off a bed, which caused my nose to become crooked. I also had difficulty breathing, so the doctor told me that I would need surgery once I turned 18. Two years ago, I underwent a septoplasty at Benazir Bhutto Hospital in Rawalpindi. After the surgery, my breathing improved significantly. However, about three months later, I started experiencing the same breathing problems again. Before the surgery, my nose was crooked toward the left side. After the surgery, it gradually became crooked toward the right side, and over time it has become even more crooked than it was before the operation. It also feels as if the nasal bone has gradually shifted again. When I returned to the hospital for a follow-up, the doctor told me that my deviated septum was fine and suggested that I should undergo rhinoplasty. However, I consulted another ENT specialist, and he advised that I would need both septoplasty and rhinoplasty.
Based on my case, what would you recommend? Should I have only rhinoplasty, or both septoplasty and rhinoplasty? Also, could you recommend a good surgeon in Rawalpindi or Islamabad,
without surgery it's permanently treatable after taking some medicine don't you worry detailed history required kindly book appointment with me its a permanent solution
Walikumsalam! You should go for septorhinoplasty as it will deal with internal as well as external issues.
Your symptoms suggest possible structural issue after previous surgery, which needs proper examination before deciding treatment (rhinoplasty vs combined procedure). I’d recommend a detailed assessment.
Aap ka masla, InshaAllah, homeopathic treatment se behtari ki taraf ja sakta hai. Fikr na karein. Kindly online appointment book kar lein taa ke aap ki tafseeli rehnumai aur munasib nuskha diya ja sake.
