Talk to Ent Specialist on Pediatric Otolaryngology

AOA My son age 6 years 1 month was diagnosed with swollen tonsills and enlarged adenoids around 2 and a half years ago. We consulted few senior professors and almost all unanimously advised adenotonsillectomy. Infact child was having fever blocked nose chest congestion phlegm repeatedly and sleep disturbances. Hence we had almost become ready for surgery. Even we consulted anesthesiologists as well around 1 and a half years ago. BUT then one of our relative who is herself a doctor advised us to wait for couple of years and we consulted top Otolaryngology professors as well and they also said that it's not any life threatening disease or condition hence if we want we can wait. But they threatened that his teeth and face may get spoiled if adenotonsillectomy isn't done.
