Aoa I'm suffering from regular throat problem from last some months. I've used many antibiotic medicine with the consultation of Dr. I.e. levofloxacin and erethrocin etc. But infection has still not recovered. Now, not only throat rather ears are being infected too. Mucus and sore throat is very problematic for me. Plz suggest me appropriate treatment to get rid of this problem... Thank you
Unfortunately, A comment will be incorrect unless the throat is examined by an ENT surgeon.It needs to be seen if your use of regular antibiotics is justified or not.
You may need IV antibiotics but you surely should attend some ENT Consultant regarding any further medication.

Whatever history u have narrated indicates that u r suffering from allergic pharyngitis where mucous keeps trickling down ur throat called post-nasal drip. Auditory tubes and in turn the ears also get affected. Antibiotics or tonsillectomy have no role to play in such cases.A detailed history of allergies n cliincal examination are needed.
