Talk to Gastroenterologist on Choronic Hepatitis C

Solvaldi (Sofosbuvir) is a known treatment option for hepatitis C but is usually prescribed with another medication (interferon or ribavirin). The medication has been in practice for quite sometime and we have known the possibilities of fatigue and nausea as common side effects. Some people report of headaches and rashes as well. Although fever isn't something reported very commonly but we consider it in someone with a chronic issue. If the fever doesn't drop to normal for 3 consecutive days or there is a recurrent fever episodes, further tests for evaluating immunological status (immunoglobulins and TLC/DLC) should be considered.
A close follow-up with your medical specialist/ gastroentero-hepatologist should be done on regular basis.
