Asking For Self, Male 19, Mansehra
Dear Doctor,
I have been experiencing constant nasal blockage for the past 3 months. Initially, I thought it might be related to my chest. After consulting several pulmonologists, I was diagnosed with mild asthma, and some suggested allergic asthma. A PFT with bronchodilator test confirmed the asthma diagnosis.
Despite using multiple allergy and asthma medications, including inhalers, as well as various nasal sprays, I have not experienced significant relief. I am unable to breathe properly through my nose, and mucus occasionally drips down my throat, but the nasal blockage has persisted continuously.
I would like your professional opinion on whether a CT scan is recommended and if surgical options should be considered. Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely, [Usama Naveed]
