Hello Doctor's, I have been experiencing a persistent burning sensation on the left side of my chest, especially when I lie down. Initially, I was worried it might be a heart issue, but I have already done all the necessary cardiac tests and they came back normal. I was diagnosed with GERD (acid reflux), and I am currently taking prescribed medication. The medicine has helped, but I still feel this burning sensation from time to time, particularly at night or when lying in bed. Could you please guide me on: Whether this is normal with GERD If I need to adjust my medication or dosage Any lifestyle or dietary changes I should strictly follow I would really appreciate your advice on how to fully control these symptoms.
