Talk to Gastroenterologist on Possibly A Stomach Condition

Hi, My wife has been facing this issue since childhood, where she can not eat food like everyone does normally. What I mean is that even if she's hungry, she does not feel the need to eat food. Plus, if she eats food, she eats a very small portion of a meal and feels full.

This issue has caused slow fetal growth of our unborn child as well, which is why I'm very concerned. However, fetal growth has improved because all of us family members have forcefully fed her food at short intervals and improved her diet but it's an issue we're all worried about as she do not feel the need to eat even in the last trimester of her pregnancy.

Can any specialist explain what might be the possible cause of such an issue? And is it treatable? Thanks.
