Asking For Mother, Female 58, Lahore
My mother has been experiencing abdominal pain for quite some time. Despite using various medications there was no relief.Later, she was diagnosed with Grade 1 hemorrhoids and on the same day the gastroenterologist recommended a colonoscopy. She has been taking hemorrhoid medication for almost a month now and she feels that the pain is not abdominal but rather in the anal or rectal area.Should I proceed with her colonoscopy or not?
colonoscopy in itself would painful results at her age....
grade 1 hemorrhoids can be treated easily with medications
it's completely treatable after taking some medicine don't you worry detailed history required kindly book appointment with me
Better to share labs and patients proper history
if you are satisfied with Dr then go ahead for Endoscopy otherwise take a second opinion
Hemorrhoids rarely cause pain they just cause bleeding or discomfort
