Talk to Gastroenterologist on Stomach Issues

Hello Doctor,

Since February, after taking medicines for fever and a sore throat, I’ve had upper stomach fullness, bloating, and a heat/burning sensation in the upper abdomen. The heat usually improves after passing gas or a bowel movement. My stool is soft and normal, with no blood, and I feel completely empty after passing it. Some days I go to the toilet 3–4 times. Sometimes I feel the urge to have a bowel movement, but when I sit on the toilet, little or no stool comes out. Whenever I stop taking the medicines, these symptoms come back. I was treated for H. pylori, and my follow-up stool antigen test was negative. I felt better on Domperidone + Risek, but now I’m taking Vonoprazan + Itopride (5 days). Could this be functional dyspepsia, IBS, gastritis, or something else? Should I consider an upper endoscopy or any other tests?
