Asking For Husband, Male 30, Gujranwala

my husband has recently quit smoking.. he had issue of dry cough before quitting smoking but now after quitting he have more issue of dry cough.. baar baar coughing hoti haai especially at night.. and also he have no history of high fever or travelling abroad and meeting any affected person with coronavirus.. except sometimes he sneezes alot and its old issue... kindly help in this case..

Most probably he is having Allergy. Take tablets FLOAID-10mg one tablet at night. Tablets RIGIX one tablet at night. Syrup COFERB PLUS one tablespoonful thrice daily.

This is chronic bronchitis.It is ridiculous to prescribe cough suppressants and antihistamine.Plz give him more fluid.Cap Cefspan 400 mg twice daily for at least 8 days.Syp Acefyl respiratory one tsf thrice daily for two weeks. Tab Floaid 10 mg at night for 2 week. Do chest physiotherapy.

how on earth one can treat persistent cough in a smoker with out pinning down likely cause of potential COPD, asthma or even lung malignancy.recommending broad spectrum abs in undiagnosed symptoms is medical negligience.As one is offering more harm than benefit .
so
find out cause first .this reply will get too long if I wrote what other information is needed in history please see some sensible physician to ensure no serious underlying cause exist.
