Hello doctor I'm currently in mombasa, I'm a resident of karachi but we keep traveling around Africa because of husband work , so my daughter is suffering from severe cough after every 1 or 2 month, every time according to doc's prescription some time cough syrup some time antibiotics for this n even we had a xray it say that she has a mucus which will b treated by antibiotics and again some times when she cough she ends with vomiting Pls help me

how old is your daughter?
any family h/o asthma, any sob, wheeze etc in children episodic cough wheeze and sob in particular if there is any h/o allergy like eczema etc is very suggestive of asthma if other acute causes like chest infection etc has been ruled out.
the trial of salbutamol inhaler along with clenil 100mic x4 wks if no better see a paediatrician
