Dear doctors, I am 38 weeks pregnant and got attacked by flu and cold. My pregnancy i completely fine Alhamdulillah. I need someone to advice me a safest treatment to eradicate it as soon as possible. I have blocked and runny nose, one sided temporal headache and throat tightness. I am feeling extremely tired being pregnant. Couldn’t sleep since 48 hours… Having nose n mouth dryness now as well

Take plenty of warm to hot fluids like tea and qehwa, Take Panadol for bodyaches if any, add citrous fruits to routine, take fexet D once at night for runny nose

Get cbc especially Hb at this time to get ur Hb checked, get one visit to gynaec OPD for assessment of fetal position.
Avoid too much tea coffee, can take qehwa and yakhni to avoid sleep loss, steam carefully for 3 days. Drink plenty of water and warm fluids. Take care and have a safe
delivery.

hey you may want to take tablet softin to calm down runny nose and blockage. you may pair it up with panadol for headache and take regular vicks steam. have good hydration and for throat do warm saline water gargles. hope this helps.

As you are 38 week pregnant so you can use antiallergic or antibiotic which is avoided in first 3 mnths !

well dear there is no need to take any medicine for flu as its self limiting disease and viral infection specially keeping in mind you are pregnant so in this case medicines are avoided until and unless some complication happened that needs to be treated Accordingly Take soft diet plent of fresh juices and Rehydrate yourself with complete bed rest
