Talk to General Practitioner on Mind Not Working Properly
Asking for Father, Female, 67 years old, Pakistan lahore
my father had motorbike accident 1 month before .in accident he had fracture in his leg and scratches on his body .now he recovering from this all but his mind not working properly. His talking is meaning recognised all family members but not recognise his own did ct scan doctor told its mild edema. He suggested some medicines. But till now no any improvment.i dont know what happened to my father he is in shock or he take stress. Please help me with concerned docotor ?which doctor best for this satuation and which doctor handle these kind of case.

Hello..!! When was the last CT scan done?? Does he have any underlying condition like blood pressure, sugar?? Well, u need to consult neurosurgeon as well as neurologist to rule out any possible condition related to RTA. and then we need to focus if it is just stress and anxiety

The situation that you are telling, it is best for neurologist and then it's upto him if he refer somewhere else.
Secondly also observe if he has control of his bladder properly or he needs diapers.
If you have already shown to neurologist then better take a second opinion
best to consult neurosurgeon
Consult a neurosurgeon, Get MRI brain done
Take him to a neurologist for a detailed evaluation
