is it ok to use Sugar tablets (ADN6, Diamicron) when fasting bloog glucose is 88mg/dl or we should quit it?
And What is the value of Glucose after 2 hrs meal?
First do HBa1c test then will decide about the change in treatment plan... Now he is OK with sugar level.. Continue same treatment
you should not quit it. the blood glucose levels are within the controlled range because of the drug most likely. how ever you need to closely monitor the fasting and random blood sugar for a few days and get an hba1c before you decide to alter/withdraw drugs.

You should not stop taking your medicines. Anti diabetes medications are life long. The moment you stop taking them, your sugar can start rising dramatically, which can be very dangerous. So if the tabs are keeping the sugar in check and you don't have any side effects, why stop them? My advice is to continue with the treatment and stick with it. Keep monitoring your HbA1c every three months. If it is within normal limits, your meds are working. You'll need to make these pills a part of your life.

First of all, write the monitoring chart of blood sugar for 7 days and also monitor your Hba1c . Then consult your Consultant. Don’t quit your medicines on your behalf.
