Talk to General Problems on Dislocated Patella

Had an injury a month before, resulting in dislocated patella..Xray is clear..due to some insurance policies here, was not able to do MRI.. consulted orthopaedic surgeon..he suggested 4 weeks cast..now due to Hajj vacations OPD is closed for almost 15 days..What should be the next step? Should I remove the cast and start some physical therapy at home or should I wait for another 15 days?
