Assalamualaikum Doctor, I am facing pain near the anal / potti area for the last 7–8 days. It started after a strong pressure/fart. Since then, the pain has been gradually increasing. I feel pain while passing stool and even while passing gas. Sitting and lying straight is uncomfortable. I also feel mild swelling in the area and have night sweating, but there is no bleeding. I took medicines from a nearby pharmacy: Colonil MR 200 mg capsules Rheugin SR 100 mg tablets Daflon 500 mg tablets After taking these medicines, the pain reduced by about 30%, but 70% pain is still present, and the medicine course has finished. I am concerned about the cause (anal fissure, infection, or muscle spasm) and would like your guidance on proper diagnosis and further treatment. Thank you.

Also daflon is not necessary for this condition, symptoms are suggestive of Acute anal fissure

apply 2% gtn and 5% xylocain jelly before and after passing stools and take luke warm water in a large tub and sit in that for 20 mins( sitz bath) that will resuce swelling

This could be due to Haemorrhoids because I have cured such patients in past.
