5 weeks post op open hernia repair with mesh outside incison is healed completely having twists and twinges and pinches sometimes inside not doing any heavy chores right now wearing binders aswell currently I'm facing lower back and glutes tightness and pain should I start doing physiotherapy for that or it's too early guide accordingly
take painkillers as cap voren 50mg three times a day for a few days please
A bit early for core strengthening exercises. I'll leave it for 6 months. If the pain isn't debilitating just carry on with normal activity, on a bad day have Ponston Forte , on a very bad day you can have a NSAID. Nothing more to add

You can get it drained under aseptic ultrasound guidance. Easy , non invasive, but if the seroma is loculated than no point, it will be a waste of money and a small risk of mesh infection

in that case, let it get absorbed naturally. If you are based in Lahore, happy to review you

Saying that physiotherapy and core strengthening are two entirely different concepts. Physiotherapy is not an issue but core strengthening will be. Physiotherapy can deal with your back issues without needing to strengthen your abdominal core muscles. Leave the core for 6 months if not more
