Asking for Father, Male, 59 years old, Rahim Yar Khan
My father, 59 years of age n diabetic patient, had an infection in right foot. It went bad quickly, dr operated and removed the infectious part last saturday. But it still has some infectious tissue, dr says we'll observe for 2 more days if infection is still there we'll have to remove the main toe to save the rest of the foot. Just want to ask if, Allah forbid we have to go that way, what life will be like for him with the main toe removed? Will he be able to walk normally? And riding a bike/driving car etc? Are there any precautions we can take to stop spread of the infection? JazakAllah, waiting for the answer.
