Had a major thoracic surgery on 22nd June. Multi nodular goiter. Surgery lasted 6 hours. Huge mass extracted. Histopathology report showed benign mass AL hamdulillah. Earlier 6 years ago I had a thyroidectomy. Now I have huge cut mark scar all over neck to chest forming a T. Using Bapscar gel. Kindly advise.

Unfortunately this region is not favourable for surgical incisions and can lead to keloids. Any way there was no choice for the surgeon. You can consult some plastic surgeon for expert advice. I hope it will be ok.

Do massag of the area and continue silicon gel preparation of any brand at night time only. babscar is too good.
use sunblock in morning as well.
after 3 months , reaccess the scar and decide further what to do.
That is great your opperatiin was succeful wait for 6 months to 1 year it may rehress slowly apply gel but not rub too much if it invreases in size becomr thick hypertrophic or keloid than consult inj may be given in scar to reduce it size and thickness.
Consult plastic surgeon.. if scar is extending.. consultation with plastic surgeon will give you good advise if scar revision is needed or if there is contracture etc..
