Asking For Father, Male 65, zhob balochistan pakostan
Patient: My Father History: He previously underwent an Ileostomy Reversal surgery. Current Issue: He has developed a soft, painless swelling (bulge) exactly at the site of the previous surgical scar. The swelling is prominent but remains soft to the touch and does not cause him any acute pain at the moment. Diagnostic Status: Ultrasound: The report is Normal (no internal organ issues or fluid collection/pus detected). CBC (Blood Test): Normal (no signs of infection or elevated white blood cell count).
How much period has passed after surgery?
Incision Hernia
kisi general surgein ki visit kar ln sheyed hernia develope hogaya hae
If it is incisional hernia it will need surgery so get him examined by a surgeon to plan the treatment it will increase in size as the time goes
does bulge appear on cough...? if diagnosis is confirmed for incision hernia and having discomfort due to bulge go for surgery
get examination to rule out hernia
When was the reversal done?
Likely a seroma or an incisional hernia
Could be a superficial swelling below the skin following surgery. Needs physical assessment.
Needs to be seen clinically
Most likely incisional hernia get it operated (not immediately but early) as the larger the size the more complex the procedure. It will need a ct scan to confirm the quality of abdominal wall, size of defect and any underlying bowel adhesiions. But perform ct only when you have decided to go for surgery.
Will be managed
can be incisional hernia, need physical examination,
