AOA.i'm 4.5months post partum and breastfeeding my child.I had a lump in my right breast for about a month .i had low grade fever (99-100) and sore throat from 1 week for which the dr prescribed me medicines in 1st had antibiotic mixel 200mg which i took for 2 i went to general surgeon and she removed fluid from a cyst in my breast and gave me the medication in 2nd has antibiotic augmentin 1000mg twice a day. I forgot to mention to the dr that i am already taking i want to know that should i complete my 3 day course of 1st medicine or start the other medication?and should i take 1000mg dose once a day or 500mg dose twice a day?

should complete the course with mixel.
while visiting ur doctor, u must have to inform about ur drugs, as its vital for a good management plan for the existing problem.
In my opinion if you are already taking Mixel and your fever has subsided then continue with it and complete a coarse of 5 days
