My 6 year old son has a neck lump for 1 year, We had done a surgery (Thyroglosal-Duct-Cyst) in Oct-19 to remove it, but the lump appeared again, it is off mid line right side of the neck, Later on, a doctor advised us that it is not thyroglossal-cyst, Over the course of 1 year, we have done FNAC, MRI, CT Scan, Ultrasound and did the biopsy test after surgery which is also negative. But still it is not diagnosed yet. The last CT Scan report from Aznostics Diagnostics Centre suggest that it is an abnormal mass of size 2.3cm which is not separable from strap muscle and thyroid cartilage. But there is no definitive diagnosis of the condition. Following are some of the my observations: - The mass increases in size suddenly, it does not increase gradually. - When the mass increases in size, it turns red, and becomes painful. But normally it is not painfull - The mass reduces in size after taking iBrufen Syrup. - The mass is quite hard. Getting some guidelines from this forum will
