Husband had his incisional hernia operated in Dec 23. He had been put double mesh. he is experiencing extreme pain that he could not even drive. bulg is also there. all ultrasounds are clear. what seem to be the problem? he had all the post op care for 3 months.

Possibility of small recurrence. CT will solve the diagnosis.
Likely small defect or nerve entrapment. Get CT for defect. Pregabalin or botulinum for nerve pain

Clinical examination required about one year or less he was pain free Has he done severe exertion recently. Ultrasounds may or may not comment about abdominal hernias. It may or may not be recurrence of hernia. Pain killers and rest may work otherwise gen surgeon will decide
