I had an open excision in June. The wound healed on it's own within 3 months but I am starting to see a new sinus tract build up. dear its a recurrance of pilonidal sinus.
It needs surgery again. I do limberg flap for such cades as the recurrance rate is low with flaps.
so get it operated.

Sinus opening is off and on difficult to see during the course of disease due to variable degree of infection. It will become evident again.

U need to have excision withlimberg flap so u don't have any recurrence
