person-avatar

Asking for Other, Male, 19 years old, Lahore

In my last post i forgot to mention few things so i deleted it kindly post this one. The pt went through a pilonodial sinus surger on dec o3.the wound closed completely in feb with no pain or drainage. But now out of a sudden the distal end of scar started non stop bleeding not heavily. The blood is of pale colour. No hole crack cut is visible. Pain occurs while sitting or lying straight. Why is this bleeding? Im worried what should i do?

Asa keep it hair free and then dry it and apply some antibacterial ointment. Avoid bending forward like driving a bike. Hopefully things will improve.

I fear this may be an infection which occurred in the remains of previous surgery. Many a times there are multiple tracts and any remains can end up like this. you should visit the operating surgeon and will advise you how to tackle it.
