Asking For Self, Male 22, Hyderabad, Sindh
I had corn removal surgery on my left foot on 7 July 2025.
Timeline:
7 July: Surgical removal of corn.
21 July: Granulation tissue completed, wound filling well.
28–31 July: Wound almost healed, pink skin with a small maroon patch, no pain, walking normally.
2–3 August: Completely painless, able to climb stairs and run without issues.
7 August: Sudden sharp pain started around the wound area.
9–10 August: Pain worsened severely, even moving my toes causes intense pain across the wound area. Walking is difficult.
11 August: Wound center soft but surrounding area hard; severe pain on touch and pressure.
Previously, corn pain was only on stepping, but now pain is constant and triggered even by toe movement. I am using a donut-shaped cotton pad which gives some walking relief.
I am concerned whether the corn is forming again or if there is another issue in the surgical area. I need quick and effective treatment advice.
