Talk to General Surgeon on Small Hole Near Anus With Continuous Pus And Occasional Bleeding
Asking for Self, Male, 20 years old, Rawalpindi
am a 20-year-old male. For approximately 3 weeks, I have had a small hole/wound near the anus. It is itchy, and foul-smelling fluid/pus comes out continuously. The fluid appears yellowish, although I am not completely sure about its color. Occasionally, there is also some blood. I am concerned that this could be an anal fistula or an infection/abscess. Please advise what could be the possible cause, whether I need a physical examination or any tests, and which specialist I should consult.
