Doctors,
I am approx 30 years old male. I have hydrocele in my left testicle since I was 14-15 years old. So my left testicle is 3 times the size of right one. Hydrocele is confirmed in U/Sound conducted couple of years ago. I will maried in 5 months & want to undergo hydro-electochemy. My question is risks of becoming father due to surgery and what cost will be incurred?

Surgery for hydrocele usually doesn’t affects potency or fertility.
The most common complication of hydrocele surgery is hematoma (accumulation of blood in the scrotum).

Thanks for responding. How much will it cost? And I have heard that recovery is very slow & sac swollen for months. Is that true?

Aoa , cost is arnd 30 thousand to 40 Thousand
Operation for Hydrocele is usually safe if done by competent surgeon,it
does not effect fertility, however , you have probably a big Hydrocele ,
you may develop Haematoma formation post-operatively,as a result of which ,
size may look like as before operation , that is one reason , you should
get operated by a right person, cost if you get operated in set up where I
do routine surgery is Around 90000/-, for 24 hour , which is usual time
required for this surgery, for any extra stay , you needs to spend 17000/-
for each 24 hours
hydrocele surgery do not affect fertility. but only complication after surgery is hematoma formation and thats avoidable and curable.
U r far away. U need is surgery. N if testes is normal u will have normal sperm count
