Asking for Father, Male, 59 years old, Lahore
My father got a surgery done about 1.5years ago, had his bladder stones removed. We went for open surgery and at that time the left side of his wound had a small opening, after around 2 months of strugle we were able to manage it. Now after 1.5years all of a sudden the other side had a small hole and fluid came out. I opened it and now its a 1cm long and about a cm deep opening. Please guide

If fluid is continuously coming, it may be connected to the bladder. If no fluid is coming manage by daily dressings.
Send this oozing fluid for Culture & Sensitivity. Continue daily dressing of wound. Keep it clean and sterile. Get his CBC & CRP levels done. Continue antibiotics according to C/S report.

This appears to be a stitch sinus and it needs exploration to remove the cause. To be sure we need to have a look on the wound. You can get an appointment for physical exam tomorrow
After such long time, possibility of stitch sinus is there. it need wound examination and if thread is visible, removel of thread
is the fluid discharge continuous or on and off, color less or blood stained with pus either it is urinary fistula or wound infection further clinical examination and investigations are required
Take fluid for Cs and than wound toilet and wound packed with pyodine give broad spectrum antibiotic after Cs report the patient convert to antibiotic came in Cs
