hi i m mother of 2,i m expecting my 3rd baby which is 7th week now, the issue is i m struggling with chronic hypertension and have a history of preeclampsia and oligohydramnios in last 2 pregnancy, now in this pregnancy i m experiencing high bp which 140/90 i m taking aldonet 250mg bd and low dose asprin what should i do mote to prevent and control bp for smooth pregnancy kindly help

It is a high risk pregnancy and must be supervised vigilantly by a team of gynecologist, and a medical specialist . Low salt intake, adequate mental and physical rest is advisable. BP should be 135/85 and Tab Labetalol is a better choice than Aldomet. Baseline RFTs LFTs CBC ECG Urine RE should be recorded.

if fetal heart is present start inj clexin 40 units subconscious daily to prevent iugr and oligohydramnios.
