Asking for Sister, Female, 14 years old, Karachi
My query is about my cousin, who is 14 years of age. When she got her first period (around 8 months ago), it was in the form of spotting. After that she got a period next month, which lasted for 3 days with regular bleeding. But now its been 6 months and she hasn’t got any periods. Her mother got her started on some homeopathic medicine, which didn’t help, and on top of it she started getting symptoms such as hot flashes and stomach cramping. What do you advise in this case? For some reason her mother is afraid of getting her hormonal treatment. But if that can help, she will do it of course.

- Dear she is teenager Under phase of Reproductive development can have regular ,irregular , ovulatory or anovulatory cycles .
- Girl should have better balanced diet ,weight and Bmi .
- diet should be healthy ,nutritious with less salt ,suger ,oil and spice .
- should walk and Exercise Daily .
- should have complete treatment of any health issue u have.
- have balanced emotional well being ,can have nice hobbies to avoid stress to affect hormonal balance .
- she can have hormones Cyclically but better to avoid it .Let nature affect at it's own .
- if want to have hormones or medications follow up again with girls detailed history .( medical ,drugs ,social ).Check if her mother ,aunt ,sister ,grand mother having same pattern in their teenage.
