Jana ye hi main again pregnant hn 12 weeks ab dar lgra again na hojae please guide krdn me myfol use kri hn ap koi med bta dn asa ni ho please help
waleikum assalam, you are young ,not cousin marriage, this neural defects can detect earlier and can do termination, don't worry,it radome and can be prevented by starting folic acid 3-6 months before planning to conceive.get ultrasound from expert for fetal anomaly scan

these are neural tube defects most commonly fue to folic acid deficiency. take myfol regularly till 3 months of pregnancy. anomaly scan at 20 weeks.
yes dear although it's due to multifactorial cause but main contribution if from folic acid Def ..u need to take high dose folic acid 5 mg make sure it's 5 mg throughout pregnancy
There are many other reasons for NTD , but the main known is folic acid . It should have been started 3 months before pregnancy. Any how continue it now , you may take it 2 times for better results .

It is not necessary that it is repeated again. Folic acid 5 mg daily preferable 3 months before pregnancy and during pregnancy till 12 weeks is advised.
