Asking For Self, Female 23, Karachi
Hello. I have been diagnosed with PCOS in my ultrasound although all of my blood tests (fasting insulin, FSH, TSH, LH and prolactin) are in normal range. However, I have vitamin D deficiency and anemia. My menstrual cycle is very irregular and have a history of missing period due to stress. One of the gynecologist gave me birth control pills (Duphaston and Yaz). I can't decide if I should start these medicines because I've read about the side effects about body being dependant on the medicines including weight gain. I'm very conscious about my weight and have anxiety and depression as well. Kindly guide me what should I do
still your histroy is not complete.
well doctors always check benefit verses risks of any medicine if benefit is more they will advise you medicine obviously dr also dont want to give health risks to their pts kindly trust your doctors not on google search engine. these searches are not authentic so kindly follow your dr. side effects amd adverse effects are 2 diff things.
you can book an appointment to discuss your issue. it is treatable
Assalam o alaikum.

WAS. I'm unmarried. My weight is 50kg and height is 5'1. Yes I do have excessive hair growth but it's from the start due to heredity. But recently I've witnessed some thick hair on my chin. I also get acne but seasonally.
