Talk to Gynecologist on Bleeding Difference

Hello Doctor, I had a medical abortion in July, and my bleeding started on 22 July. I have continued bleeding on and off since then, sometimes with clots. Recently, around 4 weeks later, the bleeding became heavier again.

My last period was 13 June, and a previous scan showed no remaining pregnancy tissue.

Could you please advise how I can tell whether my current bleeding is post-abortion bleeding or my first period? Is there any test or examination that can confirm the difference, and is this pattern of bleeding normal?
