I m 24 weeks pregnant... i felt thirst from some days.... i have done with blood tests my sugar level is normal but creatinine level is low what does it mean?? I ask from my dr she said its normal... when i asked from her about thirst she said its usually happen in pregnancy Nd second i have severe urine infection from start of my pregnancy but my dr didnt take it serious.... kindly experts drs share ur reviews....
Well you need to get urine complete examinations and if it has pus cells get urine culture. Urinary infection need to treated. For diabetes you need to get GTT done fron laboratory. After ttests please visit the doctor.
Dear,if u have any family history of diabetes,then u must go for oral glucose tolerance test. For it u need to be nil by mouth from 12 midnight. Atleast 8hrs fasting should be there..
As repeated vaginal infections may also indicate hidden diabetes.

Sure dr... i have done with glucose fasting test that shows normal range as i have taken glucophage xr twice a day from start of pregnancy due to one moscarriage in history... is there any need of Gtt after normal range of glucise fasting test???

Thanks you check your urine test nd if bacteria you do culture nd start urixine two times a day for five days alka citra in half glass of water twice daily for five days nd plenty of water

Sure dr thanks for ur guidance i will surely follow.... one more question i want to ask in my 24 weeks of pregnacy my hb level is 10 my dr gave me Sangobion iron supplement which didnt suit me after taking i have severe stomachache nd loose motion... what better alternate of iron supplement which suits me???

less creatinine means ur kidneys r ok...increased water intake during pregnancy in summers is fine...but if ur OGTT is normal then need not worry about GDM...i m amazed tht y u took glucophage in the beginning of ur pregnancy wth normal glycaemic control...
get ur urine CS done and take medicine accoedingly...
hv a watch on any vaginal discharge wch is smelly and itchy or otherwise...perineal hygiene is must...

W.salam dr... i have done with glucose fasting test not OGTT.. glucose fasting test shows normal range nd cretanine shows low level which 0.44.... Nd i have one miscarriage 1.5 year ago then i got treatment from endocrinologist he prescibe me glucophage xr coz my insulin level was high nd then after 2,3 months i got conceived nd he strictly says that u must glucophage from start of pregnancy as he found out the reason of my miscarriage is that i didnt take in previous pregnancy....nd dr from start of pregnancy i have lower abdominal cramps nd lower back cramps still comes from its my 25th week i have consulted soo many dr but no one find out the exact reason one dr told me its becoz of urine infection i have used a lot of vaginal wash, creams, antibiotics but didnt get rid from it.. nd i m getting much scared from these cramps as its getting worst day by day my all ultrasouds are ok anomaly scan is perfect but no one know the reason of these cramps its just like labour pains.... plzzz tell me what would be the reason of these cramps coz my 7th month is near to start which we heard much risky period....
