i am married (1 year) no kids i am facing some menstrual irregularity from last 2 months and last time i had menses was 18 october after that in november my cycle skipped . in the end of november i went to doctor and my pregnancy test was negative and pelvi ultrasound was normal (endometrium thickness was 11mm). she prescribed me duphaston for 20 days which i started form 1st dec once daily at night along with folic acid and she said when you stop medicine after 20 days you will have menses . i took medicine till 16 dec . and today early morning when i woke up i have bleeding similar to menses . fro the past 10 days i have having breast pain similar to PMS and yesturday night i had mild headache same as the one usually had when menses are going to start . Now its bleeding although not very heavy and i am also not having any menstural cramps (which i usually have) . should considere it menses because i need sanitary pad for that .and what about my duphaston dose why before treatmen

headache and breast pain can b due to duphaston-u r nt hvg regular cycles its only a wthdrawl bleed aft stopping duphaston-

-it could be menstrual irregularity due to Hormonal imbalance .
- Doctor advised u hormones to adjust hormonal imbalance and to have With drawal. bleed .
- Consider it Menstrual bleed and treat like that .
- Have Complete treatment for any health issue u have like blood Suger levels ,blood pressure and thyroid levels with in normal range .
- have folic acid Daily .
- do have Recreational activities and quit recreational drugs.
- have Daily walk yoga and Exercise.
- have sex in fertile period of Cycle .
- avoid excess hormonal intake as it can further disturb periods .
- after this period body need so readjustment time to regulate menstrual Cycle .
- for pain u can have tab ponstan 500 mgs 8 hrly .but don't make it a habit .

have serum beta hcg first as urgent and follow with report .
report Symmptoms as well.( one sided lower abdominal pain is alarming )
I thought u stopped duphaston .
now follow with hcg report .

Why would i have beta hcg . I am not pregnant thats evident 16 days before i had the test and i dont have any abdominal pain.

if u had Urine pregnancy test then u need to have serum beta hcg to bring safe side .

I am taking duphaston regularly not missed any dose . Should i stop duphaston now as still i have dose to take on 17,18,19 and 20
