Talk to Gynecologist on Breast Pad
Asking for Self, Female, 25 years old, Lahore
Can we feed our child breast milk in the presence of breast pad? I'm confused due to the chemicals that are present in the pad. Kindly please guide me about this

There are no chemicals in breast pad. They are made up of absorbent material only. Off course you can feed your child in its presence. But change it frequently if they get much soaked
their os no such harful.chemical in cotton breast pads. if u feeling cautiois just wash the nipple area before feeding other wise their is no harm in breast feeding along with breast pads .but change it frequently when it get soaked!
Remove pad before feeding clean area with wipes first then after wet tissue with lukewarm water
