Talk to Gynecologist on Brown Discharge In Pregnancy

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Female, 32 years old, karachi

I am pregnant with triplets. At around 12 weeks i got my antenatal tests including Urine DR and culture. The UDR report showed occasional leucocytes and moderate bacteria and culture report stated no growth. Around 13+ weeks i had brown discharge for 2 days only when i wiped off. I got an ultrasound done which was normal. Now at 14+ weeks i am again having dark brown sticky discharge. Can i know what is causing this? can it be UTI. I have no problem in urine except frequent trips.

- wellcome and thanks for preffering Marham for your health Consultation.
- Dear u need to have extra precautions ,antenatal care with senior obstetrician in tertiary Care centre .
- this discharge need to be investigated by having Hvs and cervical length also to be measured via scan to have any extra management .
-try to avoid long walks ,over work ,stress ,stairs ,weight lift ,long travelling and have strict hygeine .
- better to have detailed discussion on Symmotoms with treating obstetrician and follow advice .
-Regular scan with antenatal follow ups needed.
- best of luck.
