Asking For Self, Female 26, Karachi
I am just asking for a second opinion. Additionally, I'd like to know if Brintellix has any side effects on reproductive health in any way?
Background:
Last December, I experienced delayed periods, missing three consecutive cycles. In early March, I consulted a gynaecologist who prescribed Primolut N for five days to induce menstruation. After my periods arrived on the seventh day, I underwent tests on the second day of my cycle, including FSH, LH, TSH, Prolactin, and fasting insulin. A pelvic ultrasound was also conducted after my periods ended.
My test results showed a TSH level of 4.217 uIU/mL and fasting insulin of 16.36 uIU/mL, with other results within normal limits. Based on these results, my doctor prescribed the following medications for three months:
1. Thyronorm (to be taken one hour before breakfast) 2. Glucophage 500 (one tablet after breakfast and one after dinner)
I started this course on March 15th, and it's been approximately 1.5 months since then.
Currently, due
