Im 23 weeks pregnant. Two weeks ago i visited a physician for chest infectiom who suggested me to go for echo. Cardiologist diagnosed after echo that there is a hole in my heart, leakage in one wall of heart, or dil ki ek side brhi hui hai. Than I visited another cardiologist and he confirmed the same issue after echo. Routine mei bhi meri heart beat bht taiz rehti hai. Bp kbhi kbhi high ho jata hai. Or heart burning hoti hai bht ziada. Kindly guide me k ab mei pregnancy k time period ko kis trha behtr treeqay se guzaron or koi medicine lun heart k lie ya nahi. Meray husband chahtay hai k seventh month mei hi delivery kerwa dei ta k heart k lie treatment kerwa sakay. or ye bhi bata dei k delivery ab normal ho gi ya c-session se or kis hospital mei ap suggest kertay hai jahan aisa case easily deal ho skta hai..meri gynacologist kehti hai k mei lahore se hi kerwao c-session jahan cardiac centre bhi ho sath hu.

You are a high risk case coz of cardiac issue. It’s best to have treatment and delivery at a tertiary care hospital where all facilities are available. It is not advisable to suggest you medicines without examining you.
Wa aliqum assalam. Your case is high risk. You need multi-disciplinary approach involving both Obstetrican and cardiologist. For better evaluation your detailed examination along with investigation will be required. For this you can visit me in clinic in timings.

repaired or un-repaired cardiac septal defects come in low risk group-according to ur symptoms u ll b classified as NYHA one/two/three/four-u seem to b either in class 1 or 2-wch is again low risk-
now u already knw tht u hv this problem so u better seek advice frm cardiologist gynaecologist and fetal medicine expert at the same time fr ur antenatal care,timing of delivery and mode of delivery...if ethg goes ok(like ur BP remains normal/ur palpitations r under control/ur baby growth is fine/u dont develop any thrombotic event etc)then i think ur OBG wth combine consensus of ur cardiologist and fetal medicine consultant might suggest u elective caesarean at 37+ weeks...why not normal labour??? c pregnancy is though hyperdynamic state but all the changes occur but they occur gradually so tht woman's body acclamitise to it slowly-but in labour ur heart ll cardiac overload wch can create an acute emergency...

Yes it’s a high risk condition.. delivery could be normal or section . Better to prefer normal delivery. U may need few medication and correction of anemia . And delivery must be in a big setup .
