Talk to Gynecologist on Copper IUCD

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Female, 29 years old, Lahore

Aoa K had ppiucd with C-section on 17th July. On my follow up visit my gynaecologist did scan herself and said copper T is in right location. But I can't feel strings in vagina even on deep insertion of finger. Does this mean that it is displaced? What should I do to know it's in place.

did u previously felt the thread? if yes and now u can't feel it, it does not mean IUCD is misplaced. thread can curl up high.
u can get ultrasound done to know it's in place.

Threads can curl up sometimes and you may not be able to feel them .However, get a pelvic ultrasound to confirm if IUCD is still in place.
