After a miscarriage, cramps and a thick white discharge can be normal, but watch for signs of infection—fever, foul smell, or increasing pain. Stay hydrated, rest, and avoid sexual activity until your doctor clears you. If the discharge becomes yellow or green, or you notice a fever over 100.4°F, contact a healthcare provider right away. Keep the area clean and dry, and use loose clothing. If you’re unsure or symptoms worsen, a quick check‑up can rule out retained tissue or infection and give you peace of mind.
