My wife had ectopic pregnancy last year and fallopian tube was removed through laproscopy. After one year her periods are again delayed by 12 days and upt is still negative. My concern is last time upt was postive after 17 days from missed periods date and this time it seems like it will be positive again around that time. I read somewhere If the hcg is showing positive after 2 weeks it may be the sign of ectopic pregnancy again. Is there any way to check other than blood bchg and urine hcg test?
Bhcg level rise is different for a normal & ectopic pregnancy. Its very early to detect pregnancy through an ultrasound, but if there’s confirmation of pregnancy tgroua positive bhcg report, you can get serial bhcg levels to see if the levels are progressing as should in a normal pregnancy.
this is not true. but yes recurrent rate of ectopic pregnancy is 10% so check keep an eye on ur qife if she has any pain low b.p and recheck upt after 17 days. if negative then less likely of pregnancy is there.
