Talk to Gynecologist on Endocrinology, Medical Specialist

I delivered my baby 6months ago via c section. I didnt have pre eclampsia or gestational diabetes. But after the delivery I got hypertension n I'm on medication till now. Although the readings are normal now n I'm planning to tapper off valsartan 80mg. Please let me know how to tapper it off. The readings remain 115-120/80-85 My hba1c was 4.8 last 2 months ago. Where as my fasting blood sugar at home comes 107, 102. I mean above 100. What does it mean? Am I prediabetic? Which test is more reliable? Blood test fasting was 80 2months ago but home test was above 100. What should I do please suggest? Please note that I have a family history of diabetes.
